How to create awesome 3D videos on Facebook with Alight Motion
Have you ever seen those 3D videos on Facebook that look like they’re popping off the screen? They’re cool, right? You can have some fun with this effect too with Alight Motion Presets, which make it super easy to create 3D videos on Facebook. Here’s how!
Upload photos and videos
Follow the steps below for creating amazing 3D videos on Facebook: . Step 1: Create a video in a third-party software like Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. . Step 2: Export the video as an h264 mp4 and select ‘3D’ in the export format dropdown menu. . Step 3: Upload the video to your desired location, such as YouTube or Vimeo, then download it onto your computer as an mp4 file.
Prepare your workspace
You will need a laptop and an external monitor. If you have a laptop and an external monitor, we recommend connecting your laptop to the external monitor via HDMI cord. This will provide your desktop workspace with more space and make it easier for you to multitask.
Create your storyboard
1) Open your Alight Motion presets folder.
2) Find the preset you want and open it.
3) Apply it to your video (drag and drop).
4) Edit the preset as needed using the tabs at the bottom of the application window.
Add backgrounds
*Open the image that you want to use as your background in Photoshop, or any other photo editing software. *Find a video of the same size as your image and place it in the background. *After you have placed the video, go into Photoshop’s menu at Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation, and adjust the hue and saturation until you like what you see.
*Repeat this process for every frame of your video until it is complete.
Add light effects
Adding light effects to your video is a lot easier than you might think. A simple way to do this is by using the Alight Motion Presets that come with ATTITUDE Video Editing. Add sound effects and music
First, download the Alight Motion Presets. You can find these under ‘Categories’ and then clicking on ‘Alight Motion Presets’. Next, open up the program you plan to use for your video editing. For example, Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X. Once you have opened the program, drag and drop the preset onto one of your layers in your timeline.
Finalize, save, upload and promote your video!
In order to make the best video, you need the best quality. Using a good camera, like a DSLR or mirrorless camera will help you get the highest quality video. You’ll also want to use a tripod or something that holds your phone steady in order for your video not to be shaky.
