How to Make Your Videos Pop with Alight Motion Presets
There are lots of little things that you can do to make your videos stand out, and improving the look of your motion graphics can really help here. With presets like Alight Motion, you can add interest, movement, and color to your footage quickly, easily, and beautifully in Final Cut Pro X with just one click! The best part? You don’t have to be an expert with video editing or color grading to use them! Let’s take a look at how this amazing plugin from Alight Motion works and how you can use it to create beautiful video that will catch people’s attention.
Before you start
There are two ways you can use these presets. The first is by using a selection tool to edit the video clip, which will apply the same type of filter on each frame. This way, you’ll be able to change between different looks for your videos. The second is by applying filters after your footage has been edited, which allows for more flexibility and creativity because you can go back and tweak your edits however you want them.
Add Alight Motion Preset

Adjust lighting and color
To adjust the color of your video, head to the Basic Settings tab. There, you’ll find a section called Video. Here you can adjust Exposure, Saturation, and more. Head over to the Effects tab next. In this section, you’ll see each individual filter that’s available. Play around with different presets until you find one that you like!
Remove movement from a clip by selecting Static preset
You have just one last step before you publish your video to your YouTube channel or post it on Facebook. To remove any movement from the clip, select Static in the Alight Motion preset drop-down list. This will save a huge amount of time in your editing process as you won’t need to cut out every movement that appears in the background of your video. After you’ve selected Static, click Apply and then Save.

The feeling of accomplishment after finishing a project is incomparable.
