Top 10 Best Call Recorder Apps

A call recorder app can be a useful tool to have on your phone if you ever need to record important conversations with other people. With one of these apps, you’ll be able to create high-quality audio files of your calls with just the touch of a button, and most of them offer features that can help make your life easier, like cloud storage and automatic emailing of your recordings. Here are the top 10 best call recorder apps currently available on Android.

1) MagicApp

Call recording is a feature that’s built into many business and personal apps, but it can be tough to find them all in one place. MagicApp aims to solve that problem by providing a single platform for all call recording apps. You’ll find everything from expensive legal packages like e-Biz Court Call to free options like NoNotes – Call Notes. If you want an app that can record voice calls or video calls, or both, there are options here too. MagicApp has recorded more than 2 million calls so far, making it one of the most popular call recorder apps on Android and iOS alike.

2) CallRecorder – ACR

This feature-packed app can record phone calls and import them into Google Drive. It’s lightweight and easy to use, with separate features for recording video calls and conversations on messenger apps. The free version of CallRecorder is designed for personal use, but it has a few limitations: you can only store three recordings at a time, you’re limited to 30 minutes of recording time per month, and videos are limited to two hours in length. However, these restrictions are lifted if you upgrade to one of CallRecorder’s paid plans.

3) GoCall

GoCall is one of the best call recorder apps for Android and iOS. Not only does it record calls, but it also records phone conversations between you and a third party while your phone is on loudspeaker. It comes with a slick interface that lets you playback your calls or delete them. You can also have GoCall transcribe your audio recordings into text, making note-taking easier. If you’re looking for one of the best call recorder apps on Android or iOS, GoCall should be at the top of your list.

4) TapeACall Pro

This app is great because it actually transcribes your calls, so you can read a text version of what was said. There are some caveats, though. The transcription feature will only work on iPhone 5S and above, and that feature alone costs $9.99/month. Without transcription, you’ll pay $3.99/month for each device that you want to record calls on—so if you want to add another phone number or a landline number, it gets expensive fast.

5) CallNote Lite

CallNote is one of our favorite call recorder apps because it includes some great features that most others don’t. For starters, you can manage your recordings right in your phone: go into the app and view a list of all your calls, or search by name to find what you’re looking for. There are no limits on recording time, so use CallNote on calls as long as you need to. The best part? It only costs $1.99 USD!

6) Awesome Call Recorder

Awesome Call Recorder is a perfect app for recording all calls on your Android phone. With it, you can record any call with high quality in M4A format directly from your device. It does not require any root access or special permissions like Accessibility Service or Internet. Also, it’s free and there are no time limits on recording time. Just install it from Google Play Store and have fun recording your own calls!

7) CallRecorder Free

For quick and dirty recording, check out CallRecorder Free. It’s a simple app that records any calls you make or receive on your Android device. The basic version of CallRecorder Free is free, but there’s also a Pro option available for $1.99 that adds features like scheduled recordings and auto-start when receiving a call. For both versions, you can sync your recordings to Google Drive so you don’t lose anything if your device dies or gets lost; all recordings will remain accessible online via your Google account. The best part about CallRecorder Free is that it does exactly what it’s designed to do–it records phone calls–without any hidden charges or in-app purchases to worry about later on down the road.

8) Record phone calls (AndroidTM only)

Android has a built-in call recorder app you can use to record all or part of a phone call. Open Settings. Select Phone. Under Calls, tap Call recording and then select either Record via mic (default) or Record via speaker. Tap Start to begin recording your call or place a call as normal. While in a phone call, tap Menu > More > Stop recording to end the call recording at any time.

9) Phone Recorder for Free – CallLog & Voice Dialer with Recording Feature

Records any phone call you want & audio messages in MP3 files. Automatically organize your calls & filter out spam calls. Easily edit, share and export call recordings. The most powerful call recorder to record voice calls on your android device with free in-app purchase. It’s reliable, secure and easy to use!

10) Call Record – Record, Edit and Upload your Calls

This is by far one of my favorite apps. It allows you to record phone calls and also edit them. You can upload your recorded calls directly to Google Drive, Dropbox or Evernote, so you can easily manage them and share them with others! Even if you aren’t using these services, though, it’s still nice to have a way to store and archive your recordings without having to upload them manually (and manually inputting data is a recipe for disaster!). If there are specific points from conversations that need follow-up action items, simply tap on those portions of your call recording and mark them as separate tasks in Todoist. This will ensure that nothing falls through the cracks! The app supports many devices like iPhone, iPad, Android & BlackBerry.
